For every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction. After movement begins at the core and is transferred from the core down through the feet and the ground ... this process along with gravity provide a weight and mass that is being drawn to the ground ... depending on the size, speed, and direction that is applied to the ground will dictate how well the ground will propel the body in the direction needed and the at the speed needed. If the body is imbalanced and cannot handle gravity well, not only will force tranferred from the core to the ground be insufficent to propel the body, but the reaction/force transferred back from the ground back up in the body will be poor due to a nervous system/brain that is unaware of how the body should move (also greatly effecting precision). Basically movement patterns will be greatly disrupted ... leading to smaller muscles taking over the function of large movement patterns.
